Yoga Benefits and Class Philosophy

Yoga is more than the poses to me.  It has helped me create a deeper connection to myself.  I can better tap into the life source that leads me back to the real me.  Yoga reminds me that life is a forever learning process. My practice has also helped me slow down and show more compassion to others.  It reminds me to put forth effort and then release.  I have more flexibility, physical and mental balance and strength.

In teaching I encourage accepting where ever you are at on your mat. I provide time for reconnecting to yourself and honoring what you need to receive from each class.  Classes are designed to provide stress reduction, increased strength, balance and flexibility.  They are multi-level.  Many modifications to the poses are offered and also a dose of fun with some inspiration to help you deepen your practice.
